International Centre for food Microalgae Against Malnutrition

The ICFAM has been established by Intergovernmental Convention of 31 may 2001, registered with the Secretariat of the United Nations in the United Nations Treaty Series (UNTS) according to Article 102 of the UN Charter.

The establishment Convention of ICFAM has been published on the United Nations Treaty Series as well as on the Statement of Treaties and International Agreements registered or filled and recorded with the Secretariat of United Nations no. ST/LEG/SER.A/652 of month of June 2001.

The ICFAM establishment convention has been duly classified on the United Nations Treaty Series Cumulative Index no.40, page 548.

The Institute has been listed into the Yearbook of International Organizations, edited by UIA/UNESCO at no. GG9967

The International Centre for Food and Nutrition is an active promoter of the First International Conference, Rome 24/27 September 2014, under the High Patronage of the Presidency of Republic of Italy, Italian Senate and Parliament, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Ministry of Public Administration, Ministry of Economic Development and Ministry of Environment.

The ICFAM possesses: diplomatic immunities, Treaty Powers, capacity to emit its own Laissez-Passer and establish Relations with and Accredit Representatives to States and International Organizations.

ICFAM has 21 Associate Member Sates, represented by he General Council, which has provided full powers to the undersigned Secretary General
